Beach High Mural Dedication

I would like to invite you to the dedication of a mural I have been part of, as an instructor. The Beach High School Mural is a youth designed and produced project from start to finish. 

Students took a concept and created a design that best represents their school. 

Prior to the commencement of the mural, youth artists attended workshops to develop skills and ideas toward the goal of designing their own mural.

Over the course of 5 weeks, 40 student volunteers participated in the production of the mural. The 6 lead student artists involved from the beginning of the project have shown dramatic improvement in their attendance and ability to work as a team.

2nd Saturday Art Walk Downtown Long Beach 12-10-11

Come down to the Downtown Long Beach art walk this Saturday. I will have a booth there selling paintings and prints. It is located at the corner of Broadway and Linden . I will have some cool affordable art work for sale.  From 3 to 10pm

Signal Box Revisited

My signal box at the corner of 8th and Pine Ave. in Downtown Long Beach is in such a high traffic area that it was getting defaced regularly. Luckily not on the foreground images but only the background. The development agency contracted me to make some additions of dog walkers around the whole box.

Live Painting Tomorrow Night During LONG BEACH ROLLER DERBY

I will be painting a small mural live tomorrow night during the Roller Derby match.  Stop by and check it out, right next to the Queen Mary in the dome.
